Below are acceptable forms of ID to show during the appointment. Be sure to double check your ID is not expired prior to your assigned notary showing up.

North Carolina Drivers License or State Issue ID

Military ID, USA Green Card, Resident Alien ID

United States Passport

Note: Id’s should have the following: photograph, a physical description a physical description (e.g., “brown hair, green eyes”), and a signature of the bearer. Most government-issued IDs contain all three components.
